The Drama Ministry is an open invitation to discover your hidden talents and use them for the glory of God. Through the use of talents, given and uncovered by God, we have the opportunity to witness to those that are hurting, share with those in need, and use humor to ease someone’s stress, etc.

Through the use of drama we can

• Use our own experiences to communicate the teachings of Christ
• Honor God by sharing the stories that change people
• grow individually in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ

Ministry Opportunities

• Director

  The Director leads the style in which the message within each script is delivered and helps the individual actors convey the personality of their particular roles.

• Production Manager

  The Production Manger works with the Director to create the environment and the setting on stage to help deliver the theme of the sketch. Requires a resourceful and creative person with a keen eye for detail.

• Set Manager

  The Set Manager works with the Director and the Production Manager to create the physical set needed to convey the message in the script.

• Prop Coordinator

  The Prop Coordinator works with the Production Manager to create the set in accordance with the theme. This individual is responsible for obtaining and managing the props needed for each production.

• Costumes

  This individual is responsible for assisting actors in creating the individual personalities of their characters through their dress. It requires a creative, open mind with a touch of flair.

• In the Future

  One of our dreams is to create a youth ministry focused on delivering sketches to our children in their classes. This will require an additional team of people, dedicated to creating a ministry of its own using youth and others to share God’s message.
